What Happens During the Certification?

During this service, a technician:

  1. Tests control box station to ensure the the system will activate properly in the future.

  2. Replaces fusible links (heat-sensitive triggers).

  3. Verifies gas/electric shut-offs function correctly when the system is triggered.

  4. Checks nozzles for grease buildup and ensures blow-off caps are intact.

  5. Examines agent levels and cylinder pressure.

  6. Updates the certification tag with the inspection/service date as proof of compliance.
