What Happens During the Certification?
During this service, a technician:
Tests control box station to ensure the the system will activate properly in the future.
Replaces fusible links (heat-sensitive triggers).
Verifies gas/electric shut-offs function correctly when the system is triggered.
Checks nozzles for grease buildup and ensures blow-off caps are intact.
Examines agent levels and cylinder pressure.
Updates the certification tag with the inspection/service date as proof of compliance.
